If anyone is still out there reading my blog, I am so sorry I seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth. I have no good reason, but I have thought about this little space every day. It's always with me in the back of my mind, but after a while it gets kind of like that mystery tupperware in the back of the fridge. You know it's back there, but have forgotten what's inside and are afraid to open it.
The blog has been on my mind, but where do I pick up after such an absence. I guess, like the mystery dish, you just take a deep breath and go for it. Get out whatever has been closed up in the dark recesses, wash it out, and start fresh.
Don't worry, there isn't anything gross and moldy lurking in my dark recesses that I'm going to spring on you guys, just the routine boring stuff I usually babble on about.
I've been up to a lot of this and that, you know, just living. Being a nana mostly, my favorite thing in the world to do.
My plan is to go through the many unedited photos I've taken since my last post and share some of what I've been up to. I've missed you my friends!
I have recently taken a liking to instagram. My very original name there is autumhall, if you'd like to follow along.
Be back real soon, I promise! Maybe even later today.
I'm glad you are back, I always get concerned it's a health issue when you disappear.

Thank you Tricia. I have felt the same way before about a blogger, I mean I worried what happened when they stopped. I should be more aware and more considerate. I'm sorry if I caused concern, but happy to know there are folks who care!
I'm actually feeling great (knock on wood)
We just got back from the beach. Salt air is good for everything ; )

Hi Welcome Back. Glad to hear you've been enjoying a little of this and that. I'll look you up on Instagram, I'm addicted to that little app.

Glad to see you. You have been in my mind a bit lately, as my 18 year old son signed up for the military - he leaves in August for boot camp in Missouri. I remember your posts at the time your son signed up, and draw much strength from them...

Willow Caroline,
My heart goes out to you from one mama to another. It certainly isn't easy, I won't pretend that is was, but once I made it through to the other side, I can say it was a very special time that I treasure.
We shared a closeness that we had not had in years.
If you have any questions that I can answer, I'd be glad to.
Tell your son thank you for committing to serve our country. Which branch will he be going in to?

hello, i've never commented...but have been a regular reader...glad you are well...don't worry about the absence! i too was hoping it wasn't a health issue keeping you away...glad it wasn't...
i always think that interests ebb and flow...natually...sometimes you have the energy and want...sometimes you don't..(i have a blog that i haven't written at for a lonnnggg time) i set it up for family and friends to catch up on the day to day of our kids...but ironically i have been catching up with many of them in person...!

Thank you!

Catching up in person is always better.
When I started blogging, it was easy to blog every day or at least a few times a week, now when I don't blog I feel as though I'm neglecting something. It's always there in the back of my mind.
Thanks for commenting!

So happy you're back! I've missed our time together! I too, have neglected my blog. Not sure how to get back into the swing of it. You did your re-entry very creatively. I may copy your list-style; sums things up rather well! And your haircut looks adorable!

I have been 'following' you for about a year...glad you are back...and happy that you took a break...everyone needs to now and then. :)
I have gotten some really good ideas/tips from your blog...like little things you make your granddaughter, the little kitchen you made from a book shelf for her, etc...I always look to see what you are up to next and if you have posted things you have sewn for her (I have a 2 year old granddaughter and an 'almost' 10 month old granddaughter). :)
Your blog is always fresh as a daisy (my very favorite flower by the way -- and what originally drew me to your blog!)
Take care...love the new headboard, and you made me laugh with your 'pregnant belly' comment about it.
Have a lovely day!
