Taking pictures of small dogs and cute granddaughters and Picnik.
Luckily I have agreeable subjects.
OK, so she's not always agreeable.
The four-legged guys, they're easy.
I just lay on the grass with my camera and snap away.
Good grief, is he funny or what?
After, I don't know, like 784 shots, give or take a few, I spend hours playing around with them in Picnik.
What he lacks in legs, he more than makes up for in ears, tongue and personality.
That girl loves her silly little dog and he loves her too.
Almost as much as he loves running.
Have you tried Picnik? I don't know didly about photo editing, but I sure do have fun playing around and Picnik makes it easy.
What my daughter wouldn't give to have a wee dog that she could pick up. After seeing those cute pictures, I'm almost tempted. I'd probably be worried all the time that one of our big dogs would sit on the poor thing or something, though.

Those are some amazing dog photos! Did you digitally alter them in any way? I love the old-school coloring.

Hi Rebecca.
I did alter them in Picnik. I love it. I also have photoshop elements, but it is such a large program that it causes my computer to slow to a crawl and it is has such a steep learning curve. I removed photoshop and do all my editing in either picassa or picnik. Picassa is totally free, picnic has many free features. I do pay to use the premium features and am totally hooked.
Have a lovely day!!

Is the long-haired dachshund a new addition to your family? From someone who has two.... you will fall in love and there is no turning back!

Hi Christie.
The brown dog is a long haired Dachshund puppy. I guess hes my grand-pup. The other guy is Toby, a long haired chihuahau.

Such cute pictures! Even when she's not agreeable, she's precious!
I agree that puppies are such fun to photograph. My oldest daughter has a picture on her blog of their pup, and it looks like he's smiling so big. Makes me laugh everytime I see it.
