It may not seem like much to you, but let's look back at where we began.
An improvement, don't you think?
I just want to make beautiful things, even if nobody cares
Autum, you should feel proud. I am proud for you! You did a great job. It is inspiring!

Thank you Cindy! I am pretty sure I have a photo saved in my idea file of your coffee table that is cream with a dark top sitting in front of your turquoise sofa.

Um, wow...this is gorgeous! Been following your blog for a while. Had to let you know how beautiful the table and chairs turned out. Want to come on over and take care of a few old pieces for me?

This is an amazing transformation! Great color choices. I especially love the sheen of the tabletop.

Wow!! I love it! It doesn't look like the same table, well done for persevering xx

Awesome!
Seems the vinegar and rusty metal did the job on the table top. You persevered and made something you and your family will enjoy for many years.
Thanks for sharing the before and after photos.
Well done!
Peace.

It turned out beautifully - even if you have scared me off ever trying to refinish furniture...

Thank you Lydia. No, it wasnt easy, and much of it was my own fault. I learned many lessons, the biggest being dont get in a hurry and try to skip steps.

Ha ha, doesnt it though. Everything is better with a little aqua : )

Thank you Elke. It is a satin finish and isnt supposed to have much sheen. It isnt super glossy but does reflect a lot of light. I like the contrast between the slick top and the distressed legs. Im happy with it.
