I've had this hanging on my back porch for a while. A long while. Just a board covered with burlap in a frame. I was hoping inspiration would strike and I'd have some idea what to do with it. Finally, today inspiration struck.
Much better than plain burlap behind a frame, don't ya think? A little tape and some craft paint is all it took. What took me so long? Going with the patriotic theme, I gathered up all the red I could find. It didn't take long, as I'm not a fan of the red. None the less, I found some bits here and there.
I made some pillow slip covers from dollar store dish towels.
And added touches (dollar store touches) of red, white and blue here and there.
Now my porch is looking all festive for America's birthday.I hope you all have a safe and happy 4th!
I love it! All of it looks great...and the porch looks so welcoming
