How's that for a clever title?
I finally got around to making Bayleigh a pillowcase dress. There are loads of tutorials just a google search away. Most are free but I also saw a couple you can purchase if you are so inclined.
I shirred the top by sewing four lines of stitching with elastic thread in the bobbin.
Used a rolled hem on my serger to finish the raw edges (before shirring) and tacked on some ribbon for shoulder ties (after shirring). Easy-peasy!
It's great for gardening,
and perfect for picking...
Very sweet! Love the bottom. Good choice.

So glad to have you back. I went back to your first June post and totally understand how you feel. I have begun to post less mainly because I often feel less than adequate compared to most other bloggers. I have been evaluating also. So sorry to hear about how sick you were, but so glad you are back. I have missed your REAL posts. So sorry about your wonderful pets. I am experiencing the same thing with our dog Nick who is almost 12. I am not sure how much longer he will be with us, but he is up and down. Bayleigh is adorable in the little pillowcase dress! We are expecting our first little grandchild in Sept. I have rambled on, but oh so glad to have you back on your terms. PS glad you won't be advertising! Just glad to hear you back and better. Jackie

Hi Autum:) It is so good to see you back. What adventures (I use that term loosly) you have been through! Even though I have never met you I just know you are the sweetest lady and I pray for your health and endurance. I just cant believe how big Bayleigh is getting! She looks beautiful in her dress made by her Grandma.
