Not me Autum, the season autumn? I am. I love the cool crisp air, and the lower humidity. Ahhh the air just feels wonderful in the fall, doesn't it? The latest Pottery Barn catalog had some great fall decor in the back. Out of my budget, but great. I already have some pumpkin topiarries I made at least five years ago, I'll drag them out of the garage, but I wanted something else to spice things up, add some fall fun to the place. I found a couple of white plastic urns at Roses for $2.50 each.
I got two grapevine pumpkins at Hobby Lobby (40% off 14.99) and a string of 35 Christmas lights. I had some fake fall leaves in the craft room and spray paint in the garage. Now I have a Pottery Barn inspired decor not only for myself, but for less than the cost of PB's version, I was able to make one for my sister as well. If I remember correctly, PB's price is for the pumpkin only, urn not included.
So funny that you mention the Pottery Barn Catalogue!! Just yesterday I was in Pottery Barn and browsing the catalogue and thought to myself, "Damn, they have some GREAT stuff this fall!" Glad I'm not the only one who was impressed. Oh, and don't feel bad, it's out of my price range too!

Very pretty arrangement.
I have seen so many ladies do wonderful things with a spray paint can. I haven't been so adventurous yet. I am afraid once I do, I will have a cabinet full of different colors and be spray painting everything. (hee hee)
I too love Autumn. I love the coolness in the air and the changing colors of the leaves. It's so good to see you posting again.
Hugs,
Cheryl

Autumn- I so love reading your blog. You are so crafty and have the ability to see potential in otherwise bland objects. Your presentation is catalog perfect, without the catalog price tag. Thank you for your inspiration and frugality. I am sure I am not the only reader who appreciates your talents. Thanks for sharing with us.

Looks super! I wish I could ever find cheap urns to spray paint. The only ones I ever see are $15-20ish.

Jack said to check out your blog. AND I LOVE IT! I tried to find the grapevine pumkins last night but could not find them at Michaeels or Joanns. Your work is truely inspirational! Also.. your grandma made our bridal dresses for April Langsons wedding.Do you remember? Small world! And you are truely talented!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea. I recreated the Pottery Barn look as well. I was so excited this week when I found two grapevine pumpkins with lights already in them at Target. I love your blog!
