Since it's been a couple of weeks since I was last here, it's not easy to focus on one topic. So you get a bit of this and that. Hope that's OK with you.
First and foremost, thank you cannot begin to express my appreciation for your love and support, understanding and wisdom. You comments provided much comfort to our family during this time of sadness. If I could give each of you a great big hug, I would.
Casey, now known as Recruit Hall has been at boot camp for two weeks. We got a form letter with the address to write him, but that's it, no real words from him yet. Two weeks is a long time for a mama not to know how her boy is doing.
Bayleigh is our little ray of sunshine on even the cloudiest of days. She's full to the top and running over with joy and her happiness is contagious. Just a few of the things she's loving these days:
Walking into the laundry room to watch the clothes dry.
Can you imagine how many times a day I kiss that little face?
She's also loving,
teething cookies
her Ruby doll (thank you Diane!!)
and the Christmas tree.
She does not love
getting dressed. Every day. Every. Single. Day. It's tears and thrashing about, trying to roll away and escape. The girl doesn't want to wear clothes!
I've done a little sewing I'd like to share, but that will have to wait till tomorrow, it's past my bedtime. Night, night my sweet friends!
Glad to see you back. Your Bayleigh is too stinking adorable. Totally cute.
What kind of tree is that you have? I like it.

My little Amelia loves the Earth's best teething cookies too. She literally makes "Nom, Nom" noises when she eats them.
Oh and she despises getting her clothes changed too... and her diaper...and don't even THINK about wiping her nose. haha

I love that she walks herself into the laundry room to watch the dryer! That's so cute!
And the look on her face while you're dressing her? PRICELESS!!
I'm sure you'll get a letter from Casey this. At least with the Navy they only got to send mail on Sundays so I'd always get letters on Thursdays, keep your fingers crossed!

Such a cute face and those big, big brown eyes - adorable. So glad that Bayleigh is bringing you some joy.

What a beautiful face to look into. Not that I need to suggest this but LOAD Casey up with mail!! My SIL just got out of AFboot camp a few months ago and he said that mail call is the absolute highlight of their day EVERY DAY. Be sure to follow the 'what you can and can't send' list because they get really razzed and 'made an example of' but he'll feel like a million bucks no matter what you send!
Glad to see you're back :)

Bayliegh is growing so fast and is just as cute as ever. So cute that the simplest of things intrigues them. I love that pic of her in the laundry room staring at the dryer.
Glad to hear you and your family are doing well.Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.

Bayleigh is absolutely beautiful! I know she's a comfort to you and her mama during this hard time. I hope you all get to speak to Casey sometime soon. I know he's probably having a hard time being away from all of you right now. Still praying for you all...

Bayleigh is so adorable and I can see where she would be such a great source of comfort even for her young age.
Thanks for keeping us posted on Recruit Hall too:)
Many hugs for all.

Oh my goodness Autum, that child is divine! She is so gorgeous she makes me want to jump through the screen and smooch that little face. I can imagine that it is hard to be blue with that princess scooting around.
Lots of thoughts and prayer for you all, especially your recruit:)

Oh, that girl is adorable! Looking to the dryer, lol... And so much fun that all the girls hate that much getting dressed! lol... Mine is the same exactly!

Kiss her for me, she is just darling. I just had to share that my MIL told me one time that my husband, Casey, loved to go to the laundry mat. Why in the heck would he like that you say??? Because he wanted watch the washing machine "go roundy roundy".

She's adorable! I have to say though---why bother with clothes if it's such a struggle? My little ones usually ran around partly naked when they were little. Less laundry (although she might not be happy with that, LOL), less stress. Then they reach an age where they DON'T want to be naked, LOL!

Such a beautiful little baby! And, yes, I CAN imagine how many times you kiss that sweet face.
Enjoy.
