That is the best recovered chair I have seen in a long time. and your piping looks great too. I just fixed up a broken dogs pillow case for a friend and cut out all the piping so I wouldn't have to sew it back in !! Cherrie

Beautiful as usual... I've been working on a couch all summer, but the beach keeps me away from my work.

That looks great! I love your title too! That is so funny. You make me want to get my glider out of the garage and redo it. Hummmmm! Can you come do it for me? LOL!

Holly Cow what a beautiful chair!!
Is it one of those glider-types that you can sit in while you are holding your grandaughter?
Looks totally Amy Butler! Better watch out of the former owners might see this and come take it back!! :)

I just bought a new one of these before my baby was born. Your's was cheaper and now it's cuter! I might have to recover mine, just so it's cuter!

YIKES!!! What a great job you've done on that poor chair! Turned it into something anybody would be proud to have in their living room ---- would go in mine also!!!

That is awesome! Please tell me if it is difficult to do something like this...I have two chairs that I would love to re-upholster, but I believe my sewing skills are just beginner-moderate.

My mom has one of those glider rockers that I was thinking about asking her if I could bring home. It sits in a bedroom unused. Your cute re-do has definitely inspired me to go for it. Looks great!

Dear Autumn,
I have been an eaves dropper to your blog for several years, but never felt I had anything to contribute that had not already been said. Your talent, honesty and kindness is something I look forward to reading about. Well Autumn this last post I need to comment on. Call it serendepity, but just this weekend my youngest daughter who is expecting her second baby asked me what I could do to "help" the same cushions on the same rocker you showcased. It was passed down from her older sister, so this chair has been through four babies. I think I can do the cushions but the arm rests look challenging. PLEASE when you have a free minute (hah-ha) can you tell me the ins and outs of this project. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
