More feathering. This little girl is certainly going to have a sweet place to lay her head, but I'm sure much of her dreaming will be done while being held and adored. I'm getting all excited and filled with butterflies in anticipation of nuzzling that sweet baby's head against my neck, feeling her warm breath on my chest as I hold her and watch her dream her baby dreams.... It's really getting close, I'm going to be someone's nana (I'm thinking I like nana) Mitch a papa, our baby girl is going to be a mama. I can feel our lives changing direction, entering a new stage, a good one. I feel spring time in our lives, sweet new beginnings, just as welcome as the blanket of jasmine blooms growing along the fence
and the songbirds nesting outside my window
Spring is all around, inside and out, and it feels good.
Autum, I have to agree with you...that new grandbaby of yours is gonna have some sweet places to lay her head. You have a knack for picking the yummiest fabrics and making wonderful creations out of them. Love the fabrics on the new basinette.

I'm so excited for you to hold that sweet baby too! My parents are 'nana and papa' to my kids, so I have to agree it sounds pretty special!

I just sighed a warm cozy little sigh. What a charming and sweet place to nap. I think I am getting all jazzed up for the arrival of this wee-one too. Baby girl stuff is just too fun. Just out of curiousity, what ideas have you for little boys? You are a genius ya know...

Beautiful fabric, and colors! Is this one going to stay at Nana's house? I'm sure you are going to be racing to the phone every time it rings from this point on in anticipation of the precious pink bundle to finally make her arrival! Just think of all the adorable baby outfits to sew in your future!!

Those flowers are gorgeous. We still have quite a bit of snow here. That's one lucky little baby. Wish my relatives were crafty. You should give making some different types of slings a try. Babywearing and sewing carriers is also addictive (in a good way, LOL).
