For my desk chair
Inspired by this fancy, dressed-up chair.
More of the same quilt used for the seat portion was used to make a cushion cover for this chair, also in my sewing room.
I just want to make beautiful things, even if nobody cares
Oh! Let me be the first to say that the prom dress is lovely! Will she wear a wrist corsage??
I'm using your basic purse tutorial this a.m. -- again -- will post pics on my blog soon when I've finished the two batik bags I'm working on. Just love your blog and the tutorials are the bomb.

This chair is so cute! I think one I am sitting on could use a little fashion makeover herself.

Oooh, she's looking all spiffy and beautiful. Can't wait to see what you do with her date!!!

I love it! Funny thing, I could have sworn you had already made a cover for you office chair, but realized I had seen the one from Stop Staring and Start Sewing. I read both of your blogs, got y'all confused for a second : )
Love the covered cushion too, what a beautiful quilt!

I love it - and I especially love getting to see you use more of that quilt...
But aren't you (ahem) *supposed* to be making some crib bedding???
(you know that I - the PROCRASTINATION QUEEN - am just teasing you... it's fun to remember that you and I are more alike than I think. Sometimes you're such a super-woman that I forget...)

What an adorable idea!

It turned out beautiful and you left enough room in the back to fit it on the chair! Smart. I had to cut mine open and add a gusset after I tried to put in on the chair and it was too tight.
I love all the goodies on your shelf. My daughter used that same bunny pattern to make a denim bunny with cute button eyes.

I don't think my husband would let me do that to our computer chair...
How pretty.

Lovely chair! Like the background too, which appears to be a studio? We are remodeling our basement to be my art studio and my husband's office. We are almost to the fun part of choosing flooring, paint colors, etc. I have NO idea what to do. Thanks for giving me some eye candy to get the juices flowing!

I am curious to know. When you pick fabric out, do you have to carefully consider what fabrics you are putting together or do you just carefree'idly pick them out and sew them together?
Every project of yours is so wonderful with different fabrics that look fabulos together but that I would never think of putting together. I learn so much when I read your blog! Thank you!
