Sweet mail from Dawn, who was a winner in my 300 post give-away. Look at the artwork on the envelop.
A needlebook. So beautiful.
So much detail. Dawn, it is amazing. Thank you!!
Sitting on the porch with my sweetie, enjoying an afternoon shower and admiring my new Crocs.
Watching Casey drive off to pick up his date (also named Casey) for his first real date on the day he got his license.
Hearing the car pull into the drive on time when Casey got home from his first real date.
A quiet dinner, just me and my sweetie.
A phone call from my girl. My happy girl.
New to me sewing books from the used book store.
Sewing with this fabric.
Enjoy your weekend. I hope it's full of happy thoughts.
Love those fabrics!

Beautiful packaging for a beautiful gift. That needle book is STUNNING. Really.
Glad your new driving dater made it home safely and on time. I'm not ready for mine to make that move quite yet. He's got his permit but still has to take driver's ed before he can get his license, then he has six months before he can have a non-related minor in the car with him. So, whew.

Sounds like a nice Friday! The detail on that book is amazing! Just gorgeous. Love the new crocs, I want another pair as mine are purple and don't quite go with everything. Soo comfortable! Those fabrics are right up my ally, too. I love florals!

The needle book is absolutely lovely! And so's your friend that sent it.
Don't you love getting little surprises in the mail?!!
Here I am crying into my dishrag over the kiddo going to camp for the first time and you're watching yours drive off for the first time! Put the whole camp thing in perspective. Thanks.

Love to read about your grateful heart. It is very inspiring.
Funny, Casey & Casey. My mom and dad were Milt & Millie growing up, and we thought that was funny!
Happy Weekend, Autum.

Wow that needlebook is gorgeous! Having a new driver must be very scary. I'll know soon enough, but I still have a few years before I have to worry about it!

What a beautiful needlebook. How come you look so fab in your crocs, I look like I have blocks on my feet.

What a wonderful package! There is so much detail in the needle book, it's amazing. I love the skirt you're wearing on the porch swing, too- so summery.

Something I never thought I'd hear myself say (write): those Crocs are damn cute! Love them!
And your gratitude list has me smiling. There must be a sweet sorrow in seeing your children leave for dates. Driving. I feel like I kinda get my mom's anxiety about it all now.

Hi, I love your blog, everything is so beautiful. I just started to read it a couple of posts ago. Can I ask what the fabric is in your skirt if you made it? I really like it. Thanks, Bev
