It's what... 12 days before Thanksgiving and just 37 before Christmas? I'm just not feeling it. Could be the 80 degree weather we had last week. It's hard to get excited about Thanksgiving or Christmas when you're wearing shorts and flip flops. Why am I complaining? 80 degree weather is beautiful. In August I'm longing for that kind of weather. In February I can't wait to get out the flip flops. November? I want November to be crisp and cool. Autumnal. I want to wear sweat-shirts and eat soup. Come on Mother Nature, bring on fall so I can get ready for the holidays.
Speaking of holidays...
A purse that says winter and Christmas
that will last through Valentines day.
oh! i feel for you -- i really do. we've been living up north for just a few months now, but i can remember those days when it just wouldn't get chilly outside in houston. i thought fall would never come and when it did, it never stayed long enough.

I'm with you on the weather. It completely influences my attitudes about things. I want it to be appropriately seasonal at all times. But no one in charge ever asks me. =)
Love the peppermint purse!

It seems like yesterday I was getting ready for Christmas. How can it come so quickly now and came so slowly when I was a kid? Very cute purse, like your holiday pins.

Very cunning purse transformation! And I'm with you on the weather thing. Hurry up cold.

Very cute purse! And I have to totally agree with you. Other than the leaves falling from the trees, it is still stinking summer here!! I am so ready for cold weather.

Well done you, Autum! I love it when a Christmas item makes it through at least another month, because invariably I'll still be using it and won't look like such an idiot. And as for the weather: I'm ready to be done with summer in all forms! It should be 60 degrees every day, and 40 at night, and that should only drop *gradually* between now and Christmas. (If I wanted a real winter, I'd move up north!) As far as I'm concerned, Spring can begin promptly on Jan 2; that's when I'm about tired of winter. Sadly, I do not control nature....

Thank you so much for your tutorial. I really do love this one. So festive and reds are great anyways.

you know, don't feel pressured to feel Christmas-y yet - that's just the stores talking! it's just past halloween in my book! :)
Dec.5th - you'll be feeling it by then.

I'm not feeling it yet either. In fact, I'm kind of dreading it. Bah humbug!

Love the bag. You do such cute stuff. I have to get thru the last of the November birthday's first, then I'll get excited about Christmas. Maybe.

Hi Autum!
I love this bag, so peppermint swirly.
I can't get into the holiday thing yet either, with the weather being in the 60's everyday here in Connecticut. I don't know how you southerners do it!

Yikes! It is close!
I LOVE the little patches you made for the red and white purse that will absolutely take you from holiday to holiday. And I bet if you made a blue star one, it would even take you to the 4th of July!
