Completely blank here. This daily posting is messing with my head. Oh, I'd have plenty to say if I wasn't on the spot. I need to post early in the day because waiting only makes matters worse, adds to the pressure... the clock ticking away the minutes. Gotta post before I go to bed, gotta get that daily post in.... it's making me a little batty.
So what did you do today? Me? Not much. I finished some things up. Got some orders packaged and ready to ship. Ordered pizza for dinner (I'm such a slack cooker) and here we are. Whatcha wanna talk about? The weather is still unseasonably warm here, but tomorrow is supposed to be cool and rainy.
Oh, did I tell you my cousin is getting married Saturday? He's 52 and has been a bachelor for all but a couple of those years (a brief marriage in his 20s) We're very excited for him. The wedding is going to be a very casual ceremony, in his back yard, which happens to be right next door. I'll take pictures and share next week.
In other exciting news, we're having a house guest this weekend. She's four and absolutely precious. It will be fun to have a little girl around again. I think she may need to learn some sewing, don't you?
Oh well, sorry to have wasted your time with my small talk. Thanks for the visit. I'll try to do better tomorrow.
Wait.... come back. I thought of something. I've had several questions about the kanzashi flower pin. You can find the tut on Craftster. It takes a little practice to get the feel of it but once it clicks they're not hard to make, just a little time consuming.
The craft apron from yesterday's post was based on one from Machine Made Patchworks. I say based on, because I am not sure I am following the directions since they are in Japanese. If anyone is interested in a mini tutorial I will be making another one in the next couple of days and will take some pictures of the process.
Gracie is a little upset with all the attention Toby gets around here. She demanded I put the Santa suit on her and take her picture. Here's my tiny, moody, Gracie-girl (and her silly looking mama).
Yes, yes, yes...I am interested in a tutorial. And thanks for the flower link.
Gracie sooooo cute!

And you had nothing to talk about... you had loads. Gracie looked like a doll. Stick to your plan! Kim.

It's been a while since you've posted a picture of you! Your hair is getting so long, and I am totally coveting your bangs and your highlights both! I'm going to have to print you out and take you with me tomorrow when I go visit JessicaTheFabulous tomorrow!

You are adorable!! I would love a tut!
And don't you think that craftster is the best thing in the world?!?!?
I loved this post...it was sort of like learning more from a person that you really want to be friends with.

Your dogs are so adorable! You should send the pictures of Gracie & Toby to Cute Overload.com. They'd be fan favourites

That's too funny. My daughter's nickname is Gracie Girl. (And she loves Yorkies!)
I love the hair too. No chance mine would do that, though. I do need to make it down your way to give your hairdresser a try, though.

I like your small talk too. And dang, I wish my arms looked like yours. It's NOT fair. I teach 14 classes a week and I'm still a fat girl. :) (but I am healthy)

Oh isn't Santa's Little Helper Sooooo cute. And I don't think the Mama looks silly at all. I think it should be one of your Xmas cards.
