No, and I'm not sure it will matter anyway because I don't think I'm very good at knitting. I had a knitting lesson yesterday. It was basically one on one, just shaky handed me and the very patient instructor. The lesson lasted 2 1/2 hours and I am ashamed of what I accomplished in that amount of time.
Oh well, at least the yarn is pretty and I love the feel of the bamboo needles. I'm going to stick with it and hope I improve. At the rate I'm going I should have a scarf knitted by next winter... for Toby.
Speaking of Toby, I haven't posted a picture of Mr. Cutestpupintheworld in a while.
He's laying in the middle of a pile of fabric scraps. I have a large canvas bin full of scraps. When I say full I mean it is crammed so tight with little scraps of fabric it is about to bust. This morning I was searching for.... I don't even remember what for, but I pulled about half the fabric out and dumped it on the floor. Toby immediately jumped in the pile and started running off with fabric. He played and played with that pile and when he was tired he got on top and went to sleep. Here's a view from above.
No tutus to share yet but I did finish the wallets for Wendy.
I also made matching key chains and travel tissue pouches. Barring any kinks in my plans, tutus will be debuting tomorrow. See ya then.
Your dog is adorable!
Well done on your knitting. I'd love to learn but I don't think I'd have the paitence.
I've put your blog on my side bar, hop that's ok?

Congratulations on learning to knit. I'm on a dishcloth knitting-kick right now and they work up so fast. I just love your blog - you are such an inspiration and the puppy is adorable.

Your sewing talent amazes me everytime I see your stuff. I would be like the knitter you if I started sewing. :)

Oh jeepers that dog is sooooo adorable I almost can't bear it!!!
Keep up the knitting. I can't do anymore than just a plain knit stich for scarfs, but I enjoy it anyway and I'm not half bad at the simple stuff.
Wallets are beautiful, and I thought that brown bag was gorgeous!

It was quicker for me to learn to knit using larger needles than what you were using. Don't give up!

Oh puppy!
Knitting too! I love to knit..but only when it's cold (i'm such a beginnger!). Thank heavens it isn't ....YET. :)

My mom knits beautifully, every winter I plan on her showing me and it never happens. Maybe I will follow your lead and do it this winter. Love the wallets, are they hard to do?

The wallets and extras are beautiful as we knew they would be. Love to hear about Toby. Ours has managed to destroy his ugg-boot toys and now the neighbours are getting angry with his barking. We have to put him in the garage and the paper I put down last night for little accidents is now destroyed. "What was I thinking".

Youv'e done it. Needles will be cicking like mad before too long. Knowing the speed you work at that scarf will be finished today. You are officially a "knit chick"

Boy he is a cutie! One of my cockers loves to rummage in a pile of fabric too. The wallets are terrific! I like the fabric combinations that you used.

Actually, that's pretty good for a first day! When I learned, it took me 2 one-hour lessons (and time at home) just to figure out how to cast on and grasp how the knit stitch worked.

He really is the cutest pup in all the world, isn't he?
And aren't you glad that you're not on Project Runway? Last night they would have made you use all those fabric scraps (and that's a very impressive stash you have there, cookie!)
Love the wallets - some of those brown patterns fabrics are making me squeal like a preschooler at how fab they are...
And if you did all that in two hours your first time out, that's actually really impressive. Just casting on can take forever at first! Also, knitting the first row is always way hardest - it always takes 2 or 3 xs as long to knit as any other row!

Whaaaa? You're gonna knit too!? I know you'll make some great stuff. You go!
That puppy is so adorable...both my pets love sleeping on scraps too!;-)
Your projects are looking wonderful and can't wait to see the tu-tu's!

Oh, Toby is such a cutie pie! I tried knitting, but it was just too boring for me. I also attempted to make another bag last night & I got very frustrated b/c it wasn't working out very well. I hope when I go back to it I can finish it up with little angst. I want so badly to be good at sewing!

Okay, Toby is the cutestpuppieintheworld! And yes! You need to knit! It took me thirty years to finally knit. My Grandmother taught me, two friends taught me and all of a sudden in my forties, it kicked in. I love to knit! and sew and quilt and rug hook and blog and....the list goes on. Have fun knitting!

I say that your knitting looks great! I can’t knit to save my life, ok so maybe then, but I would have dropped stitches all over the place. I am terrible at it!
You must have been reading my mind because I was just thinking yesterday that Mr Toby the impossibly cute puppy hadn’t put in an appearance in a while. He’s cute as ever!
As for the wallets! Goodness don’t you ever make anything that isn’t just beautiful! I mean honestly you could have some compassion for the rest of us & post something hideous now & then! You know like LLA’s Sock Monkey Dress (sorry I couldn’t resist!!!) But seriously they are so pretty, good job lady!

Man, that little guy is cute!
Knitting, good for you for learning something new. Maybe one day I'll give it a shot. Your work looks great to me.

Love the wallets! Did you use a pattern?
Great job!

Wow - knitting! I'll bet you'll be addicted in no time. I'm not very good, but I love that it is so portable...I can do it while the kids are in their swimming lessons and in the bathroom while they are changing into their clothes. I'm just standing there - I might as well knit! I like the bamboo needles as well. And felting - I love felting! And I've only been knitting a few months!

The knitting looks good. Did you go to the shop near you? I haven't heard back from Pam yet as she has been busy. Toby is cute and a natural in front of the camera!!!
