What a week. Last week one of the things I was grateful for was the hope for a better week ahead, little did I know it had to get worse before it got better. Isn't is amazing how in the blink of an eye your life can change and things will never be the same? Granted, I realize my life has not changed drastically in the everyday sense, but this experience has changed me and more than anything I am more keenly aware how fleeting and precious life is. Don't worry, I'm not going to get all philosophical...bla...bla..bla.
This week it's about the little things.
- Baking cookies with Alyssa
- A big tight hug from Casey when I really needed a hug (it's not every day I get a big hug from Casey so they are all the more valuable when I do)
- Sitting in the grass doing nothing but watching the puppy play
- Some real time spent sewing and being happy with the results
- Being married to my other half
Not a new picture, but I'm very grateful for these two.
Have a nice weekend.
I had seen pictures of Alyssa before, and known that she was a beauty - but is it possible that this is the first picture I've seen of Casey? He's gorgeous, too!
You got some fine looking kids there, girlfriend!

I am so glad things are starting to look up.
You've got good lookin' kiddos! And it sounds like they are pretty sweet too.

I'm so glad things are going well with you. I'm already appreciating the rarer and rarer hugs that I'm getting from my 5 year old! That was a sweet and special gesture from your son. He's a good boy.

I'm already relishing every hug from my boy, and he's only 2. I know there will come a time when they are few and far between. Moments with family are the best. Thanks for sharing - and I think I need to make some cookies with my daughter now.

Hi - I came over following a suggestion from Whipup! I'm very glad I did. I have printed out your belt tutorial and will be trying it out on the nieces. I'm really commenting to thank you for your generosity and I hope to "visit" often. Thank you.
