Destination- Myrtle Beach. We're off for a few days of sun and sand, two of my favorite S words. We bought this camper last summer after years of thinking about it. Why did we wait so long? It's nothing fancy but neither are we. We live about an hour and a half from the North Carolina shore and just 2 from Myrtle Beach, so we try to go at least a couple times a year. I've never liked to stay in a hotel and the prices go up every year, along with everything else but our income, but that's a different post. Now we reserve a spot at a campground and pull our little home on wheels right down to the shore. It's like having beach front property for a few days, trailer park style. I don't have to pack a suitcase, Mitch just pulls the camper next to the garage, we load it with what we need, fill the fridge with groceries and roll. I love that I can feel like I'm getting away, but also feel like I'm at home. The campground has Wi-Fi, so I'll take the laptop- I don't want to miss E-H.
