Testing.. Testing.. 123...

Hello! Is there anybody out there? Why in the world would I want a blog? I am a quiet and private person. I don't share my feelings easily. What was I thinking? I don't know, but here goes. I only recently found some blogs that I really enjoy reading and it has given me the bug to start my own. I love to sew and paint and make old things new and hope this will be a way of sharing ideas. I am so fascinated with what a small world this really is thanks to the internet. I can sit at my computer in my little house in the southeastern USA and read all about what some nice lady in England did yesterday and what she hopes to knit next week. Or see how one mamma's sick baby is doing somewhere in BFE as she calls it.  Whod've thunk it? Some blogs I like are very funny. Others are informative and still others are just pretty to look at. I don't know yet what class mine will eventually fall under. Hopefully it won't be too full of gramatical errors. I really can't spell and sometimes I can't type either. I hope it will be pretty but I will have to do some reading up on how to customize my blog. I am not there yet. I will post pictures of things I have made or painted or covered with fabric. I may post pictures of my pets. They are real cute and I love to take their picture when I feel like they are being unusually precious. I guess I'll just have to see what I feel like saying or showing on any given day. One year ago I had never heard of a blogger now I are one!
