I am glad you made a button! My daughter is getting married in June. I have wanted to start on some things for the bridesmaids. You have pushed me in that dirrection. At lunch today I am going to cut out sleep mask and get started on them!

Love your "Sew Something In November" idea! I've already passed the idea along (with a link to your blog) to, like, everybody! I started tinkering about 2 years ago 15+ years after my mom tried to teach me to sew and fell in love! You give great advice about how to start out! When I finally upgraded to a new and fancy machine I had so much fun and learned so much just by playing around with it! This is my first comment on your blog btw, but I've been lurking for a long time!

I'm not a seamstress but I used to enjoy trying my hand at the sewing machine...I think I'll blow the dust off of it and see what i can do. I have the whole month right????
Awesome idea!

I can't imagine life without sewing in it! Good for you to promote such a productive, fulfilling and content hobby! I have several projects going - Christmas gifts for my girls. I am so delighted that I have a granddaughter and a grandson to continue making things for.

Hello, I have allready posted a little easy project. I like sewing and I'm happy to join your sewing month.

I'm ready and rearin (sp?) to go!

Oh fun! I love that you are trying to get new sew-ers on board! I always tell people that you just have to start with something--anything. Practice makes perfect, although I am still struggling with the perfection part! :)

Hi--I don't see your name on your blog--I am going to take your button and join your sew something month. I agree with you! I'm glad you put a "beginner's list" on your blog. I've been sewing for so long, I probably wouldn't have done a good job compiling one! I'm taking your button & becoming a follower.

I've recently rediscovered my sewing machine and will definitely be "sewing something in November." I'll look forward to checking back and seeing what you come up with!

Love your idea! I just put up your button on my blog... I plan to do a whole lot of sewing this month for christmas presents so hopefully this will help motivate me a bit!

I'm joining you and sewing something in November. I put your button on my blog to help my follow through. I really want to get these pants made, but they're for myself, so they always get pushed down in priority.

I am going to sew something too. I love sewing and have been since I was 8 when I designed and made Barbie dresses. I have made my own wedding dress, slipcovers and last year tackled pinch pleat drapes - out of necessity when I found out how much custom ones cost - YIKES! I am going to grab your button and sew something this month!

Hey there, I've nominated you for a Kreativ Blogger award here :-)

I will join you!
