Beautiful porch! Peace.

No help with the blog I'm afraid - I am a complete novice but I love your spotty green cushions and lovely front porch - it looks perfect for an afternoon of relaxing and stroking the cat!

I am no help either. I use blogspot and I am like you...trial and error to get it the way I want.
I love the porch too...can we just come and have a cuppa sweet tea and sew? : )
I hope someone comes along that can help you out.
I have always liked the way your page was ...it's always an easy read. I like change too. So, I can understand why you want to move things around a bit.
Have a blessed day!

I've always found typepad to be a bit complicated, which is why I used blogger, but if you need help I recommend you go to my blog page and on the right column towards the bottom I have a link you click on with a butterfly on it. That lady does AWESOME blogs for a living, and she has been a great help.

I would love to join you! :D I love your porch, it looks wonderful. I have ferns on my porch too although mine is much more country-fied. I think sitting on my porch sipping sweet tea is one of my favorite things to do.
Wish I could help with the blog but I am so computer stupid.
Have a great day.
Betsy

Hello - your porch is wonderful. Get a laptop and wireless connection and do you programming outside. That would make it a little more enjoyable!
I love the bird bath with shells and a glass top for a table. Great idea!
Have a wonderful weekend.

super cute!! love it & wish I lived closer to you! =]

GORGEOUS PORCH! (You know I love porches!)
I love your color scheme and your decorating is, as usual, exceptional! Sorry about typepad...(I use blogger) but I have always thought your blog was perfect! I know what you mean about change, though. It's sometimes really nice to have a change!
XOXO

Oh my goodness! Can I please come join you for some sweet tea and rocking? It sure beats the desk I'm sitting at right now drinking very sweet tea :) That's the most inviting porch I've seen in a long time!

I've been using blogger for years. I just started my 4th(?) blog. I need to get to cracking on it, but I just find it easy to type a quick note, add a couple pictures and post. I've made a blog about my crush (turned husband, I even gave him a codename!), my house repairs, my cooking (which failed, a lot), and now crafting. I'm bad at updates though, so I'm glad you can keep up with posting about your adventures!

I would love to sit on your front porch and drink tea with you! Those look like great rocking chairs to rock a sweet grandbaby, too! I love the big green dot fabric.

I'm not a typepad user, but I have always thought your blog was great.

I love your last post. You have a beautiful family. Alyssa and her husband are so lucky to have you and Mitch to babysit her while she's in school. When I babysat my grandkids, I shot lots and lots of photos of them. I didn't have a blog at the time, but if I did I'm sure they would have been a major part of it.

I think things look great. I wish I could help you but I have 2 left thumbs where computer stuff is concerned.

I just squealed with delight when I saw your porch...lOVE those polka dots. First time here...wont be my last I am sure. Try buying a digi kit from shabby miss jen designs...simple to use. That is what my blog is. Cherry from cherrys jubilee.

Ahhh...that porch looks so relaxing...I'll imagine I'm there....

Hope there's room for me on your porch;) It looks lovely;) Sorry, I'm no help with the blog. I love the green on your pourch;) It's a very happy color and makes me smile;)

What a beautiful home and family you have. I enjoy reading your blog, your family set up is very much like my own. We live in Oman and it is very much the norm to rely on other family members for help.

As we go in to the late 40's to 50 degree weather, I have to say that I am envious beyond belief of your porch. Enjoy it and think of us whilst you are sipping your tea!

Thank you for the tea. I'm of no help with the blog - my default width is the same as yours - perhaps it's for folks with smaller monitors?

Autum,
Wish I could help with the blog; however, I think your blog always looks so fresh.
Love the 'new' front porch and your green color scheme. It looks so inviting.
Peace.

Hi Autum,
I know for me, getting my header somewhat centered has always been a trial and error thing. I have found recently though if I use photo editing software to size the pic to 850(width)X 400(height) pixels, it seems to almost center on it's own. Looking at my current header, I think if you sized it to 865 for the width, it would be even better. Hope that helps!

Autum,
I LOVE your front porch! I'm sure you made your cushions....did you use a pattern or just wing them? Did you use outdoor fabric? If not, did you treat your fabric in some way for outdoors? I have a porch swing and some wicker furniture that are in bad need of cushions but I'm just not sure where to start with making cushions. I do sew a lot but my sewing tends to be more smocking and sewing for young children, not so much home dec.

Per previous post: Great to see such an active grandma in the life of her granddaughter! What a blessed little girl...and grandma!

What a lovely porch! I would just adore coming to sit a spell and having some tea there. :)

I am on my way. What can I bring??

I am on my way over!!! Love your porch!!! Looks so cool, breezy, refreshing, etc., even on our eastcoast 100%+ humid days.
