Blowing in the breeze...
Sheets won on ebay- they came out of the box with that distinctive otherpeoplesoldstuff smell. You know what I'm talking about, thrift store smell. Into the washer with some hot water, a little white vinegar added to the detergent, then out to the clothesline.
Like magic, they smell like sunshine and warm breezes.

Beautiful sunny day and great sheets...more lounge pants?

Isn't that "other people smell" weird? I figure my stuff must have that smell to others, but it doesn't seem like it to me. Weird. You photos are lovely.

Oooh I love fresh sheets! Although that otherpeoplesoldstuff smell usual means you got a great deal on it! Easy to fix.

Ah, yes, that distinctive Thrift Store Scent. A single washing never gets rid of it for me, but maybe the secret is the clothesline. I don't have one of those, but maybe I should!

Hi Autum! If we'd only have consistant weather and sunny days so I could put our sheets out! Love the photos!

Isn't it awful that in this urban area we are not allowed to hang any kind of clothing on a clothes line? Absolutely forbidden by the Homeowners' association (and not just ours--all of them). And so behind the times when we're all trying to be more green.

Ahhh... the smell and crisp crinkle of newly-laundered-hung-out-to-dry sheets... you have made my desire for new fresh sheets unbearable. Looks like we'll be shopping this weekend!
