This post is all about saying thank you to some special folks. Some special, talented folks.
Last week Minna played a fun game, sort of a scavenger hunt to celebrate her 1 year blog anniversary. There were four rounds throughout the day.
She asked four questions that could be answered by reading previous entries. I won the first round and was able to choose from 4 great prizes. I chose these fun Hawaiian print pot holders. Thank you Minna! Check out Minna's amazing photography.
Yesterday I received a surprise package from Leanne. It was one of her beautiful aprons. This wasn't a swap or a gift in exchange for something I had done, it was a total, wonderful, surprise. Just because she thought of me when she saw the fabric. Now it would have been thoughtful to send me a little piece of fabric that made her think of me, but not only did Leanne send me some fabric, she also made an apron for me from the fabric. Can you guess what color it is? I'll give you a hint, it isn't red. It is girly and twirly and makes me smile.
Thank you Leanne!!! That silly picture on the right is me twirling in my pretty apron.
Last but certainly not least, today I received a big 'ol box full of goodies. It came from Joni. A sweet lady who reads my blog and leaves the nicest comments but doesn't have a blog herself. This box was overflowing with sweetness and apparently Joni left something out and told me to expect another package to follow. Joni, there's more? You are too kind! My blog reading friends are better at giving me the perfect gift than my husband. Look at those sweet gift tags. Did you make those Joni? They are so neat and had the nicest notes on each of them. Joni sent me some beautiful fabric in aqua and brown, two dishtowels that will match my aqua and yellow kitchen perfectly, a bird cage that has already found a home in my living room, and a Mary Engelbreit craft book. Joni, you did too much! Thank you so much!!!!
I haven't forgotten about Gratitude Friday, that will be part 3. Then I'll shut-up. I promise.
