It looks like I am making a quilt doesn't it? I'm not. These are pieces I have cut for patchwork purses like this one. I started cutting for one purse and just kept going and going and going. There were more black and white pieces but I have two purses pinned together. I hope to get 3 done by tomorrow. I have been making purses for a little over a year and I have no idea how many I have made. I know I have ordered magnetic snaps at least 6 times and I get 50 sets with an order. Anyway of all the purses I have made this has got to be my favorite. I really love the fact that I can use small pieces of fabric that I thought were too small for anything. These strips are 11" x 3" and are tapered in at one end. Each purse takes 16 strips. I probably have enough here for 7 or 8 purses, each one different. What a great way to use some of the fabric I already have and keep me out of the fabric store. And this picture is a sneak peek for Toni. Just a peek though!
